CBG is generated through anaerobic digestion, a natural biological process in which microorganisms break down organic matter in the absence of oxygen. This process produces biogas, primarily composed of methane and carbon dioxide.


The biogas is then purified by removing impurities such as hydrogen sulphide, moisture, and carbon dioxide. The refined gas is compressed to create Compressed Biogas with methane content exceeding 96 percent v v, meeting and often exceeding industry standards.
